| Any nursing feedback on what stethoscope has worked VERY well for you? I would appreciate input on what NURSES like yourselves currently use, what you have used before, what you want to have in the future (if you are going to replace your current stethoscope) and of course why the specific stethoscope. I currently have a Littman Cardiology but like the designs of ultrascope. I heard DRGs are also good because of their partnership with BOSE. Thanks. |

I have the Littmann Cardiology III and I thoroughly enjoy it. You can hear the faintest crackles and clearly appreciate any abnormal heart sounds. Here is a link to what it looks like: http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawebserver?66666UuZjcFSLXTtmxMtNXfEEV76EbHSHVs6EVs6E666666-- |

| Indeed Littman is the authority when it comes to steth's, but the cardiology steths by Littman are way to expensive for a student or a new nurse, unless you're going into resp or cardiology nursing. Littman signature series has done really good for me in past year's as well as their classic SEll andlll series. |

| I have and love my Littman Cardiology II scope. I have had it for over 10 years and there are no cracks in the tubing and the sounds you can hear are only limited by your ears. As far as expense, buy the most expensive one you can. It is a tool you will use thousands of times. Accuracy is critical. As far as your speciality determining your steth, gat the best one you can!! |

| Another Littman III fan. I work in a paeds ER on occasion so having the smaller bell to fall back on is handy. As far as it being expensive... you get what you pay for. Mine is also more than 10 years old and never given me a lick of trouble with yearly servicing. If you are serious about what you do, you will get professional equipment. You don't see a good mechanic using tools that he/she bought at Zellers. |

I use an Ultrascope I think it works better then the Littman. I tried all the littmans but had a hard time hearing with them. The ultra scope i have had for 10 years and Ultra scope is wonderful with warrantys i just called them up and told them my problem and they sent me a new one with out any problem. I have a triple head it works for Neo, peds, and adults there are 3 heads and are interchangeable. and u can chose the colors, and designs. Jackson734 |

| Triple heads, that sounds great, I have seen the TYCOS WELCH ALLEN triple head stethoscope, but it is very heavy. |

I own a Littmann Master Cardiology and find it wonderful for my purpose. I work on a cardiac unit so it's necessary, but if you don't work in a cardiac unit, you probably will never need such a high-end stethoscope and it's pricey. I got through much of nursing school with only two $10 scopes from Walgreens and it worked fine for that. Now they hang from the rearview mirror of my car. |

To me the best stethocope that I've own is Littman Lightweight II L.E. they are really light and one can hear it really good, I bought it cause i've heard Littman's are the best, althought a lil expensive but it is worth it.
I bought them at http://www.myglobaluniforms.com/?aid=13 |
