Does anyone have any information about any volunteering opportunities for nursing students overseas? Does anyone have any experience that they can share? Thanks

You might want to ask at a local community health department... or ask at a local church. There are goups of people whom go on medical mission... and usually affiliated with a church.

I would also advise to check with a church. Most of the info put out concerning volunteering for the recent relief effort in Haiti have indicated that people with prior disaster experience were needed over those with no experience. Definitely look for disaster training; this would be helpful even for regular volunteer missions.

Check with the hosptial you are employed with they may have opportunities to recomend you for a volunteering position. Another place to check with is Smile Train they are often looking for volunteers.
