| I need to re-new my CPR/AED certification and I was researching online to find a local class when I stumbled on this website, www.cpraedcourse.com that offers online CPR Classes. You get to take the class from your home at your own pace and can immediately print you CPR Certification. |

| Be sure your faciilty accepts the certification first. Some facility requires the American Heart Assocation certification only. Just FYI. |

I wrote an article about "how hands only", or "Chest compression only" CPR is as effective for non-health professional bystander resusitation that you might be interested in reading. In the hospital, rescue breathing is done and required but studies show that chest compression only CPR can be as effective or moreso than traditional CPR. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1907068/cpr_without_rescue_breathing_may_save.html?cat=5 Michele |

| I recently read a job posting that stated that online CPR courses were not acceptable for that particular job. Since one has to get checked off in person anyway, I would just attend a traditional course with the AHA, to insure my certification is acceptable by any prospective employer. |
