Nurses: Maintain, Don't Gain!

Nurses, did you know that the average person gains approximately 5 pounds over the holidays?  I want to encourage you to make the choice that this year will not be one of those years.

Play the Maintain, Don’t Gain game this year and reward yourself at the end with something amazing if you manage to maintain your weight through the month-long holiday season.  Here is what you do…

Track points in a journal.  You will earn 2 points per day for each of the healthy behaviors and lose 1 point per day for unhealthy behaviors.  Click here to find out how to earn and lose points.  Your goal will be to have 120 points by the end of the challenge - 4 weeks from when you start.  Start your challenge the week of December 7th and end it the week of January 4th.

It's tough to maintain your weight during the holidays, but I guarantee that if you stick to the challenge, you will be proud of yourself and will look and feel better afterwards!

I would love to hear how you are doing, so email me with your progress or any questions you may have.

Good luck and happy holidays!
