If stress, overwhelm and burnout are common where you work, Stephanie would love to help by bringing her 'Life Support' for nurses to your institution or association. Visit her at www.YourLifeUnlimited.ca.
Professional speaker, nurse and certified coach, Stephanie Staples is a woman on a mission - to reinspire, reenergize and reengage individuals to live their lives with full gusto! She does that by connecting with audiences internationally and inspiring them to create “something more.” Stephanie is frequently featured on television and in print focusing on her unique vision that redefines the typical approach to wellness.
In nursing for 25 years she has served in both acute and chronic facilities and has worked in community health and in leadership roles. Stephanie has founded three businesses (two successful- you can't win them all!) and is a multiple nominee for Winnipeg's Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award (always a bridesmaid-never a bride!), she is the founder and owner of Your Life, Unlimited! Through Your Life, Unlimited she has blended her love of helping others with helping the nurses themselves and has developed the wildly successful 'Intensive Care for Nurse's Wellness Retreat,' a unique, life-shifting professional development day that is changing healthcare, one nurse at a time. It is a day of inspiration, education and rejuvenation that focuses on the wellness of the nurse (for a change!)
As the host of her radio show Your Life, Unlimited and author of a book and an audio CD of the same title, Stephanie draws upon her background in nursing and her passion for personal growth to create an experience being embraced by people from all walks of life. Whether writing columns or conducting keynotes and presentations, she infuses humour and heart with practical, relevant and do-able content to activate everyone to leave with tools they can use immediately to improve the course of their lives, personally and professionally.
Stephanie is President-elect for the Winnipeg Chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, a member of the National Speaker's Association, is a charter member of the Manitoba Coaches Association and will forever be an advocate and member of Toastmasters International.
On a personal note, Stephanie has just celebrated her 20th year anniversary with her very patient and supportive husband, Randy and they are both enjoying (usually!) the ever changing experiences that their three teenagers (and many pets) bring into their lives. Along with following her kids team activities, she, herself began playing ice sports at the ripe old age of 30 something and continues to head out into the cold Winnipeg winter a couple of times a week, in full hockey equipment, to join her favorite Ratz for a stress busting game!
A self described personal development "junkie," her family scrambles to get away when she states, " I have an idea..." they know that a new "technique" is about to be trialed on them!!
