Clinical experience
Maegan Baker is a registered nurse and Certified Case Manager with more than a decade of healthcare experience, including direct patient care in inpatient acute care settings. Her hospital nursing experience provides a strong clinical foundation for her work in patient advocacy and nursing education. Her background also spans hospice, home health, travel nursing, telehealth, and case management, bringing a broad perspective on patient needs during hospitalization and across transitions in care.
Maegan earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2012 and began her career in hospice before pursuing additional clinical challenges, including hospital-based nursing. In 2017, she moved into case management, drawing on her diverse nursing experience to advocate for patients with rare chronic diseases. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2020 and became a Certified Case Manager that same year.
For the past five years, Maegan has applied her clinical expertise to developing educational content for healthcare professionals and exam questions for certified nursing assistant (CNA) and registered nurse (RN) candidates. Drawing on her experience in hospital and community care settings, she connects nursing concepts with practical patient care to support learning and preparation for professional practice.
